How many people here believe in the Bible code? I think it's possible (through Him, all things are possible), but saw a show where they said you could find the same things by looking at almost any book. A friend of mine named Wes said he founf some amazing code-type messages in a book called 'Daydreams & Nightmares' by James E. F. Riley, Sr. Have any of you heard about this book and these allegations? He said that in the poems and short stories there were references to things like the JFK assasination and Rabin. I tried to find the 'code' and couldn't. I saw a guy on TV talk about 'Moby Dick' and he said the same thing. I am curious, Chuck

I've heard such things too. Frankly, I find that the 'plain language' of the Bible contains all the enlightenment and guidance I need! - Guy

10th JAN 2006 ************** HELLO GUY, I LOVED READING ABOUT YOUR DOG'S... I HAVE A WHITE POODLE CALLED PENNY..OVER THREE AND A HALF YEARS AGO, WE LOST FIRST SABELLE, A BLACK POODLE, AROUND 14 YEARS OLD..THEN A YEAR LATER WE LOST OUR OTHER BLACK POODLE GEMMA,WHO WAS AROUND THE SAME AGE.. WHO FOR SOME TIME HAD BEEN BOTH DEAF AND BLIND..BUT SHE WAS AS SHARP AS EVER..A REALLY LOVELY DOGGY NATURE SHE HAD.. ANYWAY.. THAT LEFT POOR PENNY ON HER OWN, PENNY IS TEN YEARS OLD...AND AS SHE HAD ALWAYS HAD DOGS AROUND HER, WE THOUGHT WE WOULD GET HER A PLAYMATE..WE DID..A LITTLE PUPPY TOY POODLE..WHOM WE CALLED JENNY..[CLEVER WITH NAMES AREN'T WE..LOL!] JENNY WAS LIKE A SMALL KITTEN..SHE IS VERY INTELLIGENT, THOUGH... SHE WAS RATHER TIMID AT FIRST..BUT THEN SHE WAS SO TINY..WE ALL MUST HAVE SEEMED LIKE GIANTS TO HER..PENNY..LOOKED QUITE SUPRISED WHEN SHE FIRST SAW JENNY...I DON'T THINK SHE HAD EVER SEEN ANY LIVING THING, SO SMALL..BUT AFTER SHE GOT A LITTLE BIGGER, THEY MADE FRIENDS..AND AS OFTEN HAPPENS..PENNY GOT A NEW LEASE OF LIFE..AND JENNY FOUND HER FIRST FRIEND.. I DIDN'T LIKE TO SEE JENNY SO TIMID..I DIDN'T WANT HER, TO FEEL FRIGHTENED OF US AT ALL..SO I TRIED ALL I COULD, TO SHOW HER, THAT IN FACT WE WERE ACTUALLY HER FRIENDS TOO.... PLAYED WITH HER, CUDDLED AND TALKED TO HER..BRUSHED HER, ANY THING I COULD THINK OF.. ONE OF THE VERY INDEARING THINGS ABOUT JENNY IS.. SHE HAS NEVER QUITE GOT OVER THE PUPPY WAY OF SLEEPING..AS YOU KNOW PUPPIES SLEEP IN A HUDDLE OR EVEN A PILE..[ALWAYS FEEL SORRY FOR THE BOTTOM ONES..AND THE TOP ONES MUST GET COLD..CAN'T WIN.. BUT EVER SINCE SHE WAS A PUPPY..SHE WILL SLEEP, CURLED AROUND, ON THE TOP OF OUR HEADS..AT NIGHT WHEN WE ARE ALL TRYING TO SLEEP.. ANYWAY...ONE NIGHT COVERED UP IN HER LITTLE BLANKET..ON TOP OF MY HEAD..THAT NIGHT SHE HAD THE WRIGGLES..AND I WAS TALKING TO HER..AND IN THE DARK, I HAD GOT HOLD OF HER PAW..AND THATS HOW WE SLEPT..SHE GOT COMFORT FROM IT SO DID I.. AND EVERY NIGHT SINCE..SHE WILL LIFT HER PAW UP.. AND TAP MY HAND.. THAT MEANS SHE WANTS TO 'HOLD PAWS AGAIN'..AND THIS LITTLE HABBIT HAS CONTINUED THROUGH..SHE WILL BE ALMOST THREE YEARS OLD SOON... SO IT WAS NICE TO READ ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE ,'HOLDING PAWS' WITH THEIR DOG..AS THAT IS WHAT JENNY AND I, DO ALSO... SHE HAS MANY OTHER LOVELY WAYS TOO..SO ONCE AGAIN WE ARE ALL A HAPPY FAMILY AGAIN...SINCERE WISHES..FROM HELEN WATSON.....

We will be picking up our new Daschund within the next week or two. I am extremely nervous about potty training. Can you give us some tips on what worked best for you? We had an 8 week beagle a few year ago and it didnt last long. It was bad timing with trying to move and show our house, etc. but the potty training never seemed to get better. How long will it take to see improvement? What works best - puppy pads, taking him outside? I read where someone trained their little guy to step on a bell...anything like that work? While potty training, do you suggest keeping him in one area where messes are easy to clean up - or can he run the house? My in-laws have a daschund but we cant get any tips from them because we are keeping it a secret. We also live in a 2 story house - do you recommend we dont let him downstairs or carry him upstairs and not to jump on furniture? We both work full time jobs and havea 4 year old son so I hope we can get a good routine down! Any tips about potty training or anything thing else will be helpful!

Guy! WOW! I totally stumbled across your website! I’ve had a great time looking at the pictures of you at the Detwilers! Tim and Cindy have a great looking family! I’m out in sunny southern California serving a church. I’ve been here for about 3 years and I love it! What have you been up to and where are you now? I hear from Heather Phillips and Jeff and Deb Murphy from time to time – they are all

Hi, I'm sorry to keep bothering you, but i had one more question. I am really just now starting to get in my bible and I just had a few questioins to ask so that i could know more. Now this may be a stupid question, but could you tell me the names of Jesus's twelve disciples? I now a few of them but i'm not quite sure, i just wanted to read a little more about them.

You are not bothering me at all. I made up a list of the apostles. You can get to it by clicking HERE. I hope that it helps. Guy

I wanted to know if you happen to know where the story is in the Bible about the woman who was sick for twelve years and she touched Jesus's garment and then she was healed. Do you happen to know where that was in the Bible? That story is found in Mark 5:25-34. It is repeated in Luke 8:43-48. Guy
